Tai Chi Teacher Certification
Our apprenticeship program dates back hundreds of years and adheres to standards that enable our tradition to remain strong and valuable regardless of the era.
The first step in our Tai Chi Certification Program is becoming an official apprentice in our Hun Yuan Lineage.
In order to be accepted in our Hun Yuan Family, you have to show basic understanding of forms and as well as philosophical and theoretical knowledge of our discipline. This process is a 1 year minimum.
The second step in the process to becoming certified in our Tai Chi Program is to earn the title of Tai Chi Coach. This honour, gives you the ability to openly teach. Within our community as well as your own. 2-3 years
The final step in our certification process is called Keeper of the Gate. This not only displays your ability as an accomplished practitioner, but also gives you the ability to have your own official students.
Important to note is that there are many ways to train within our one system. It depends on what you want and what you exemplify.
I represent the old school. You wouldn’t know it to look at me or even talk to me, but when it comes to history, I have the upmost respect.
Questions are always welcome. Each and every one of us arrives at this door for different reasons.
